Over
the years our stations has been visited by researchers,
students
and educators from all over the world who enjoyed the relaxed and
natural surroundings of the researchstation that offered them
with spacious workareas and modern facilities.
While researchers and educators are our primary target group, we also
accept bookings from short term visitors. Call in advance to see if we
have rooms available.
Our station has several two- bed and four-bed rooms and dormatory with
six beds, all with running water and shared showers and toilets.
Our guests can prepare and eat their meal in our common kitchen while
enjoying the view on the Alvar or watching some TV. After work they
otften sit and read in our reference library, play a game in our
garden, take a walk on the Alvar or take the 3 km biketrip to
the beach.
Station Linné lies on the outskirts of the UNESCO site Stora
Alvar, so be prepared to travel the 3 km to the nearest shop. At the
same time, a trip to the city of Kalmar takes only 20 minutes by
car.
