Guided tours and walking trails

We organise unique nature tours between May and late August. Our tours are guided in swedish but perhaps you understand enough to enjoy the information or someone in your company does an can help out with translation!

In May, when the orchirds flower you can follow us on one of our orchid tours. Kids will have a great time on our nature experience programme "Humlans Naturspanare" during the summer.

For a real out of the ordinary activity, be sure not to miss Mystery in the dark (Mystik i mörkret), an evening activity there we search for bats, moths and other nocturnal animals.

You find the program with dates under "Aktiviteter" and "Årets program" on the mainpage.
Reservations are made to: info@stationlinne.se
Payment is made by card on site prior to the activity.

Groups
For groups we can organise  both special interests and general excursions.  Contact us with your requests.

Hike along our trails, for free of course!

There are three fantastic hiking trails starting from Station Linné. 2 km, 3 km and 6.5 km. Maps with information about what you will see along the way can be found in the cupboard on the terrace by the entrance to the shop and cafe. If you want your own copy, you can download maps for each hiking trail - great if you want to take notes! You will find maps in swedish, english and german.

In our café you can buy something to eat and drink along the way or have a coffee after the walk!

BLUE TRAIL, TENGÖLEDEN 6.5 KM
This 6.5 km long hike meanders through historic cultural lands, extremely species-rich deciduous forests and the unique Stora Alvaret - in short: during the course of the hike you get to experience the most and the best of Öland''s nature and hidden history! The approx. 6.5 km long, moderately difficult hike starts and ends at Station Linné (1). The hiking trail is marked with blue arrows and during the initial kilometers the path is very clear and very easy to follow. Out on Stora Alvaret there are no paths, but despite this, the final kilometers in the flat and open landscape should not present any problems. The cows that graze on Alvaret can sometimes be a bit curious, but if you ignore them they soon get tired. Good shoes are recommended, especially if it has rained or is wet. Expect it to take 3-4 hours to get around – there is a lot to look at and explore in Öland''s nature – so don''t forget to bring something to drink. Or why not a lunch bag? Rarely does food taste as good as it does during a well-deserved break and rest in the great outdoors.
