Motivation: Dave Karlsson is a modern Linnaeus. With groundbreaking insect research at an international top level, a broad educational approach and as an inspirational leader, he has contributed to give Station Linnaeus and Öland a worldwide reputation.

Motivation: Dave Karlsson has, as a location manager at Station Linné, done a job of great importance. His work is valuable not only to Öland, but to the international research community.
